The Maumelle Youth Council is hosting a Parents Night Out fundraiser event! On Saturday, April 4th, drop your kids off from 5-9 PM at the Jess Odom Community Center for a night of fun! You can have time to yourselves while the Maumelle Youth Council entertains your children! Kids ages 5-13 will enjoy pizza, drinks, games, movies, and arts & crafts...while you enjoy a relaxing evening to yourselves.
$15 one child
$25 for 2 children

Bulk waste clean ups are scheduled city wide during April and October every year. Zone schedules for the clean up are on our News Flash. Please have all items curbside by 7 AM on collection day. Items NOT accepted: tires, electronic waste, household waste (trash), yard waste, appliances containing freon, construction waste, fencing, decking, contractors waste (no exceptions), wet paint. PICK UPS DONE RAIN OR SHINE!

The Maumelle Civil Service Commission, in its April 13, 2020 meeting will hold a public hearing prior to voting on proposed changes in its rules and regulations. The meeting is open to the public and will begin at 6:00pm in the Council Chambers located in City Hall, 550 Edgewood Drive. Proposed changes may be reviewed at the Human Resources Office also located in City Hall.

Maumelle Friends of the Animals are partnering with Maumelle Center on the Lake to showcase pets in our area. Dress up your fur babies and show them off to your friends. There will be various Pet Service Businesses providing information on services offered in the area. Friends of the Animals will also have pets available for adoption.
Judging by Mayor Caleb Norris and Mary Nash will begin at 10:30 AM. Awards include: Best in show, 1st-3rd place, and best dressed. Sponsors include Pawsh Park, Bow Wow and Meow, VIP Dog Walking, Pet Sense, and Claudia K-9 Treats.

Bring your Canoe or Kayak and join us for this FREE Family Event hosted by the Maumelle Area Chamber of Commerce! You will enjoy a beginner level float to observe natural resources and wildlife in Maumelle’s Urban Wetlands!
A guided, 2 mile round trip tour (approx 1 hour) will be provided by GBMc & Associates. Float trips will begin at 9:00 am, 10:00 am and 11:00 am. Each person will need to complete an online waiver. Anyone under 18 will need to have parental consent to participate. Paper waivers will be available the day of the event.

Counting on Each Other, Inc.'s (CEO, Inc.) annual SHRED-IT event will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2020 , 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Center on the Lake, 2 Club Manor Dr. Maumelle, Ar. 100% of the proceeds support the dental healthcare needs of eligible Maumelle seniors. A mobile shredding unit will be available and volunteers will be on hand to unload materials you bring to Shred-It. A small donation of $5.00 per box/ bag is appreciated. A cost effective way to protect yourself from IDENTITY THEFT while contributing to a worthy cause. Thank you for your SUPPORT!!!
