Counting on Each Other, Inc.’s (CEO, Inc.’s) annual SHRED-IT event supporting Maumelle Seniors will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Center of the Lake’s Parking lot, 2 Club Manor Cove, Maumelle. A mobile shredding unit will be available and volunteers will be on hand to unload materials you bring to Shred-It. A small donation of $5.00 per box/ bag is requested. 100% of the proceeds support the dental healthcare needs of eligible Maumelle seniors.

A Traffic Committee meeting has been scheduled for May 20, 2019. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be held at City Hall – 550 Edgewood Drive, Suite 590 in the Council Chambers. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss converting the intersection at Diamond Park & White Oak Crossing from a 2-way stop to a 4-way stop. Open to the public.

Please join Mayor Caleb Norris in remembrance of all those who died serving in the United States Armed Forces. The ceremony is May 27, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Maumelle Veterans Memorial, Lake Willastein Park. The Arkansas Run for the Fallen Traveling Memorial will be located at the Maumelle Veterans Memorial from Friday, May 24 until noon Monday, May 27. The memorial consists of placard with a short biography and a 3' x 5' flag for each Arkansas service member, who has died while serving since September 11, 2001. This ceremony will take place “rain or shine.”
