City Clerk and Treasurer

CLERK RESPONSIBILITIES

As your City Clerk, I maintain all of the permanent records of the City. This includes ordinances, resolutions, minutes, contracts, agreements, deeds, etc. It is also my responsibility to prepare, publicize and distribute the agenda for City Council meetings.

In addition to keeping track of all this information, it is my duty to share it with you. I want you to know how seriously I take this task. As an elected official, I answer directly to the citizens of Maumelle.

CITY TREASURER RESPONSIBILITIES


I am also involved in much of the day-to-day operation of the City. I am the City Treasurer and oversee the accounting department. I implement the City’s insurance coverage, let all of our bids, post all of our requests for qualifications, license our businesses, permit solicitors, handle purchasing and serve wherever else as needed. This includes serving as chief executive in the Mayor’s absence.
