our mission

It is the mission of human resources to partner with employees and departments to maximize the success of the City of Maumelle, a dynamic city, and to provide a conducive environment in which to live, learn, work and play.

We are able to accomplish this by:

Promoting and recruiting the best-qualified people, and recognizing and encouraging the value of diversity in the workplace.
Ensuring that human resources department staff are given the tools, training and motivation to operate in the most efficient and effective manner.
Establishing, managing and effectively communicating policies, rules, and practices that treat employees with dignity and equality while maintaining compliance with employment laws, management directives and policies
Providing a work atmosphere that is safe, healthy and secure, as well as conscious of long-term family and community goals.
