The Program:

Maumelle Parks and Recreation administers an in-house, Co-ed basketball league for Maumelle resident boys and girls in the 1st and 2nd grades.

Teams will be coached by volunteer parents and all games will be officiated by coaches and/or volunteer referees.

National Take Back Initative

Who: You! Only you can make a difference in your community to get unwanted/expired drugs out of the hands of our youth.
What: Any unused/unwanted expired pharmaceutical drugs.
Where: Local Law Enforcement agencies around the state.

Visit: www.ARtakeback.org for a location nearest you.

When: September 26, 2015 from 10am-2pm. Note: some sites have extended hours so check the website.
Why: To keep our communites drug free and our environment clean.
How: It's quick and easy! Just drive up and drop off your medication and you'll be on your way!

U.S. Marine Band National Tour Concert

The Marine Band is America’s oldest continuously active professional musical organization. Founded in 1798, the band has performed for every U.S. President since John Adams. Known as “The President’s Own” since the days of Thomas Jefferson, the Marine Band’s primary mission is to provide music for the President of the United States and the Commandant of the Marine Corps.

This concert is part of the 2015 U.S. Marine Band National Tour through the south and southwest and is sponsored by the Maumelle High School Band Department. 

There will be a performance at Maumelle Performing Arts Center, 100 Victory Lane, Maumelle, AR 72113, on September 28 from 7:30pm-9:30pm.

The concert is free, but tickets are required. Tickets will be released on August 28 and are limited to 4 per request.
