COACH Memory Training Program:

Starts Tuesday, January 10th @ 9:15-11am

This is an 8-week commitment to the program provided to the Center by UAMS. You will learn strategies to improve memory, thinking skills; learn about factors that affect memory such as medication, diet and health conditions. Handouts will be provided. You must pre-register for this FREE program. Marion Scott, instructor. Call Beverly for information.

SKYPE Presentation:
Wednesday, January 11th @ Noon-between lunch and bingo.

Have you heard about SKYPE but are not sure what it is? Nicole Heaps will how you can visit with family and friends through your computer by text, voice and video. FREE

SKYPE Class:
Tuesday, January 24th @ 1:00pm You will learn how to download and use SKYPE. How to "call" family and friends via SKYPE and to introduce you to the new SKYPE equipment in the Center's computer lab. FREE but you must pre-register as space will be limited. If there is interest additional classes may be added.

FIVE WISHES Presentation:
Wednesday, January 4th @ Noon-between lunch and bingo. Nicole will give a brief presentation about the importance of planning ahead of a health crisis and completing an advanced director. You will hear some testimonials from our members who have used this program. FREE

FIVE WISHES Class:
Thursday, January 12th, 19th & 26th COST: $5.00 materials fee. Pre-registration and pre-payment required. Learn why Advance Clare Planning is important and then put together your care plan. At the conclusion of the three classes participants will receive their own Living Will and Advance Care Plan. Nicole will be the instructor.
