Maumelle is very fortunate to have beautiful park areas which include many neighborhood playgrounds, basketball courts, and over nineteen miles of paved trails. Residents also have access to wooded greenbelts throughout the city. Picnicking and fishing are available at Lake Valencia, Lake Willastein and the Park on River.

The Jess Odom Community Center, is open to all Maumelle residents and their guests. The lower floor of the community center hosts the double gymnasium. The center also houses a health club with cardio and weight rooms. Rooms are available to rent for events and special occasions.
