Maumelle Arts Council

The Maumelle Arts Council's mission is to build a physical home for all the Arts in Maumelle.  This 501(c)3 organization is the administrative umbrella for Maumelle arts.  It is sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Arkansas Arts Council.  Local programs include art classes for all ages, art workshops, cultural events, Poetry Comes Alive, Arts Participation in the Schools, Annual Writers' Conference, Memorial Day ceremony, Shakespeare in the Park, Fall Jazz concert (in partnership with MauMag), Art Camp, Maumelle Holiday Tour of Homes and the Arkansas Symphony Youth Orchestra Symphony & Tea.

Maumelle Civitan Club
The Civitan Club is located in the city of Maumelle, Arkansas. This special organization is dedicated to helping people with developmental disabilities, as well as addressing many other needs in the Maumelle Community.

Maumelle Friends of Animals

We are a municipal animal control shelter and a volunteer group dedicated to working together to place unwanted animals into lifelong homes.
M.F.O.A. has been incorporated as a non-profit group since September of 1992, and through the years have pioneered several exciting new programs not only for Maumelle citizens, but for every person who owns a pet or wants to own a new pet. Your interest in our animals helps support our efforts!

Maumelle Gymnastics & Cheer

At Maumelle Gymnastics & Cheer we offer a full range of fun-filled opportunities for children of all ages.  Our gym is equipped with all four Olympic events -- bar, vault, beam and spring floor -- plus a 30 ft air track. We also have an area designed just for pre-school classes. Our classes start as soon as 18 months and continues through High School with our Competitive teams.

Maumelle Lions Club
“The Primary mission of the Maumelle Area Lions Club is to provide assistance to the vision and hearing impaired locally along with being available to Maumelle residents for other worthy causes. In addition, we support Lions Club International in commendable projects both nationally and worldwide.”

Maumelle Mommy and Me
Maumelle Mommy and Me is a great organization available only to Maumelle residents. It is an organization of stay-at-home moms, or moms with flexible work schedules, who have young children at home.
The group meets various days throughout the month for different activities.

Maumelle Music Teachers League

Maumelle Players/Children’s Community Theatre
The Maumelle Players is a volunteer community theatre group which promotes the dramatic arts in the city of Maumelle. The group is also a supporter and sponsor for the Maumelle Children’s Community Theatre for ages 5-12. Both groups try to perform at least twice a year. We welcome inexperienced actors as we provide instruction in all aspects of dramatic production. Non-actors are especially welcome as productions take a tremendous amount of offstage work to produce.

Maumelle Citizens Association

The Maumelle Citizens Association (MCA) was formed to provide a unified voice for citizens in a broad range of matters concerning quality of life issues for Maumelle residents. The MCA normally meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month except December.

Maumelle Veterans Memorial

The Veterans Memorial was officially dedicated on April 8, 2006. The dedication was supported by the Arkansas National Guard.
