MAUMELLE FIRE DEPARTMENT CITIZEN’S FIRE ACADEMY
OCTOBER 6-NOVEMBER 19, 2015

Maumelle Firefighters will start their annual fire hydrant testing program on September 28, 2015 and it will run through October 30, 2015. Residents may experience discoloration in their water for a brief period in areas where we may be working. Citizens who have questions regarding the program can contact Maumelle Water Management offices at 851-3070, if discoloration last for more the 36-48 hours.
Hydrants also will be inspected to make sure they are unobstructed and free of debris. If you have a hydrant in your yard please make sure that it has a clearance of 36” around the hydrant in all directions.
The Marine Band is America’s oldest continuously active professional musical organization. Founded in 1798, the band has performed for every U.S. President since John Adams. Known as “The President’s Own” since the days of Thomas Jefferson, the Marine Band’s primary mission is to provide music for the President of the United States and the Commandant of the Marine Corps.
This concert is part of the 2015 U.S. Marine Band National Tour through the south and southwest and is sponsored by the Maumelle High School Band Department.
There will be a performance at Maumelle Performing Arts Center, 100 Victory Lane, Maumelle, AR 72113, on September 28 from 7:30pm-9:30pm.
The concert is free, but tickets are required. Tickets will be released on August 28 and are limited to 4 per request.
